ARP Omni I

For sale is an ARP Omni that has been recently restored by Borish Electronics - all tantalum capacitors have been replaced, all faulty CMOS has been replaced, all sliders have been lubed and are in excellent shape, and all key contacts have been cleaned and polished! This synth was in a case most of its life; these original sliders have never been contaminated and have plenty of life left. Furthermore, original sliders are of higher quality than the goofy LED slider hacks offered. Hacks and 3rd party mods make synths very difficult to service if you ever run into a problem. The replacement switches offered online are also inferior. I'd replace them if I thought it was worth it.

In summary, this synth works great and there are no problems with this synth.. except for some switches occasionally needing to be exercised before locking in position. The switching contacts work perfectly fine and there are no issues with features or audio. Perhaps I'm being overly critical of the switch locking for something this old, but I feel obligated to disclose it.
